
Dip into the colourful culture of 30 different Asian and Pacific countries at the charity bazaar to be organized by the Asia Pacific Women’s Association (APWA) on 4th June 2011 from 10.30 – 17.00 at Woluwe Cultural Center, 93 Avenue Charles Thielemans, 1150 Brussels.
The bazaar offers regional cooking with sizzling spices, fiery curries and Asian flavours while keen shoppers can pick up local crafts and gifts. The day-long entertainment programme features folklore dance, music and culture while a big draw will be tombola; the top prizes are -Round trip tickets from Amsterdam-Singapore, Paris-Tokyo, Paris-Islamabad, Frankfurt-Colombo, Amsterdam-Kuala Lumpur.
Besides, many gifts hampers including Pashmina shawls, Handicrafts, electronic items and many more. Check for prize winners as from June 07 2011 at website of Embassy of Pakistan.
Proceeds from this event will go to three charity organizations: an Orphanage in Indonesia; Fusi Alofa Disability Association in Tuvalu, South Pacific an association that assists disabled people; and L’Eglantier a Belgian shelter for women and children in need.
